Cool Car Nicknames
Posted by in Cool Cars on February 3, 2012
Owning a car, bought with your own money, gives you a completely different feeling. My first car was a 2005 two-door red Chevy Cavalier (previously-owned) and it was amazing. I used to love being in my car; driving it to school, work, malls, beaches, and many other places. The reason I’m talking about my car in past tense is because my dad made me sell it (sob). It’s an altogether different feeling when you have your own car. Now it may seem a bit odd for some folks, but when you’re that fond of your ride, it becomes tough not to give it a special name; that too a name which fits your car’s personality. Yes, the car’s personality. The color, make and model, how it works and runs – all these things make the entire package, hence personality. Since my car was red, I named her Rosalie (it’s a safe choice).
Now comes the part where I start talking about names you can give to your sweet ride. Coming up with interesting car nicknames is not that difficult. But if you can’t think of anything, just think of names based on the color of your car. Some innovative choices can be, “Silver Bullet”, “Blue Lagoon”, or “White Lightning”. Be creative and take your own time when you are thinking about car nicknames. And as far as providing you with a list of car nicknames to choose from, the following section will take care of it.
Good Car Nicknames
I have always loved experimenting with tons of nicknames for cars and then finally chose one for myself. It’s a bonding process with the entire situation where you, your car, and its name make the entire equation. Secretly name your new (or old) ride with these sweet and affectionate nicknames mentioned below.

Car Sales Vis-a-Vis The Internet
Posted by in Car Sales on February 2, 2012
Car sales in different continents have different models, unalike in statutory laws and cultural influences. Their negotiation processes and steps likewise differ in much the same manner as their marketing structures.
Buying a car or selling a car for an Australian would be a baffling process if conducted in the Philippines in much the same manner that a Chinese will be lost in the process if he buys or sells a car in Europe.
These processes on how to buy a car (or selling it) in different countries or continents are outlined, in capsulized form below.
North America. Salient features of US and Canadian car market:
• New cars and trucks are retailed by franchised dealers, though some of them also sell used cars. As a necessary supplemental service, they also have trained car technicians and financing.
• Manufacturers are prohibited to engage in direct auto sales by franchise laws requiring that only dealers may sell new cars.
• Trade-ins are also common practice giving a buyer maximum financial advantage.
• Additional services offered sometimes generate more profits than the main business of car sales.
• U.S. Federal Law requires a sticker on every new car with the price and the vehicle’s features on it.
• US statistics show that 70% of car purchases come from internet research. Buyers are able to compare features of cars, prices and discounts dealers offer within the area and thus adeptly negotiate better prices, unwittingly bringing down the already small profit margins of dealers averaging 2%.
